Hey guys, it’s Ciara! I wanted to give you a really exciting update on our new lid design. A couple months ago, we posted a video letting you guys know that we heard your struggles with our current bottle lid, and were going to redesign it for you. Watch it here.
The main thing is the pull-tabs. They make sure your products don’t leak in transit, but they’re a little too secure...
As well as the pull-tabs being hard to open, the production team has to push in every single spout by hand! So it’s slowing down the speed we can get your orders out. As much as we love hearing your creativity and funny stories, we’re getting this changed for you ASAP.
So, we’ve got two new prototypes for you to look at. No pull tabs, and super secure with no dripping. Check out the video below and let us know which one you like!

The design that catches the drips best and doesn’t spill down the side of the bottle.
Will we be able to get replacement lids for our existing bottles?

First of all can I say a big thank you to the team at Tallow + Ash for asking for our opinion. 🙏 Most companies create their products or services with little regard to the end user and don’t do anything about any issues. I will definitely be buying more of your products and recommending you to all.
I choose the first design that you showed. I think that the dosing lid on the second design is too shallow and will probably result in spillage, either when pouring into the lid or when pouring into the washing machine drawer.
I look forward to seeing the new bottle design.

Prototype A as it is similar to the original design which is unique, but will now be much easier to open. No more struggling with the pull tabs! Thank you!!🙏🏼

Love all the products.
I struggled with the original pull system and did find it wasted the product.
Both the prototypes are a big improvement.
I loved B. Looking like original.
Many thanks.
